Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Piratas (13-5) in Guaynabo on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by fourth ranked Mets (10-10) 87-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Piratas. They outrebounded Piratas 42-30 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Mets looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mets made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward DeMarcus Cousins (211-1990, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks and the former international point guard Gary Browne (185-1993, college: WVU) who added 19 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Brandon Knight (190-1991, college: Kentucky) with 19 points and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Piratas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mets maintains fourth position with 10-10 record. Piratas at the other side still keep top place with five games lost. Mets are looking forward to face Cariduros (#5) in Fajardo in the next round. Piratas will play at home against Leones (#5) and are hoping to win this game.
Sixth-ranked Grises (6-14) gave a tough game to third ranked Cangrejeros (11-10) in Humacao. The visitors from Santurce managed to secure only two-point victory 107-105. However their fans expected easier game. The winners were led by the former international forward Angel Matias (194-1992, college: Georgia South) who scored that evening 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and David Stockton supported him with 21 points and 7 assists. Even 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds by Dominican forward LJ Figueroa (198-1998, college: Oregon) did not help to save the game for Grises. Cangrejeros have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-10 record having just one point less than leader Quebradillas. Grises lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 14 games lost. Cangrejeros will play against league's leader Vaqueros in Bayamon in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Grises will have a break next round.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Mayaguez. 4th ranked host Indios (9-11) lost to second ranked Atleticos (13-7) 85-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Indios. The best player for the winners was Nate Mason who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Aaron Harrison who recorded 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Atleticos have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-7 record behind leader Quebradillas. Loser Indios keep the fourth place with 11 games lost. Atleticos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Indios will play against Capitanes (#3) in Arecibo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
